Born 1987 in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Damir Zoric is a self-taught contemporary artist with a focus in painting. He immigrated to the U.S. in the mid 90's as a war refugee at the height of the Bosnian War and grew up in Milwaukee, WI, where he began exhibiting his work at age 16.
Inspired by early surrealists, the works of Ralph Steadman and skateboarding culture, his work can be described as a one part esoteric, one part satirical portrait of modern society.
"I create art that is intended to disrupt the daily static of the mind."
